The great and wise Homer Simpson said, “Only two kind of guys wear Hawaiian shirts: Gay men and big, fat party animals.”
Personally I like to think I fall into that latter category, but I don’t look down upon the first group. I just support the wearing of Hawaiian shirts; no matter what the cause.
I am dedicating my life to steering my nephew, Kade toward the Hawaiian shirt lifestyle. Only time can tell which group he will be a part of. His daddy is a Coonass so he is undoubtedly pulling for the big fat party animal lifestyle.
As an effort to appease my Brother-in-Law’s preference I also am trying to incorporate the party animal function as well. Hence the beer.
He seemed to enjoy it.
I am also going to include a link to see a clip from the awesome Simpson’s episode that Homer thought Bart was gay. It includes the Hawaiian shirt quote.
Wow! Cute and lovely picture. Looks like so beautiful due to captured all of this photo such kind of wonderful moment. Keep it up.
It’s nice to know about what you’ve written. You’re a brilliant writer.gift for a girlfriend
My name is Kelsea and I am an associate casting producer for MTV. I am currently working on casting a new docu-series and we’re looking for young adults who have really stepped up to the plate and are helping their mom out who’s going through a hard time, whether it be going back to school, full-time job or even partying too much. We really want to congratulate these teens and document what they’ve been going through on a daily basis, as well as see if we can help in some way.
Really I appreciate you for beginning this up. This web site is one area that’s needed online, somebody after a little bit originality. Helpful job for bringing a new challenge to the web!

One of my art teachers used to have National Hawaiian Shirt Day. It seemed to happen several times a year, so that there was one during every sememster. And he wore the shirts most of the time anyway, unless it was really cold or he had to go to some official school thing that required a tie.
It was the other art teacher who was gay, not the guy with the Hawaiian shirts.

I like to wear mine even when it is cold. It seems more ironic that way.

I like that you linked to Wikipedia for Coonass. I once said it (about my wife) in the office at an audit client, and my colleague though it was a racial slur. It didn’t help that I was in Morton, MS when I said it (she was a foreigner). Anyway, good thinking to spare yourself the judgment of the uninitiated.

Too cute of a pic Killer! I think the shirts are very So.Cal. but then that’s just a hop and skip from Hawaii these days.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a gay man wear a Hawaiian shirt, and I used to live in San Francisco. I must just know the party animal hawaiian shirt wearers.

I did not realize it was a bad term until Wikipedia told me, all the cajun people I know call themselves that.
Mayren:
So Cal is a Big Fat Party Animal wonder land.
Churlita:
I don’t really recall seeing a whole lot of gay men wearing them either, but if Homer says it, than it is gospel to me.

Cute boys wearing cool shirts - love it! I, too, appreciate the Wiki reference. I did know it was a bad term, but I still use it frequently....because I’m a bitch like that.
