Hello from Key Largo. I hope you guys are not missing me too much. Here is a quick update and photos.
We are in Key Largo, we spent yesterday walking around Miami Beach. It was a lot of expensive shops and fancy restaurants. Mostly we have been diving. Here are some of the best shots so far.
I think the moniker implies intent and I did not go looking for them. In fact, I’d prefer a nice man, my age, who has a good head on his shoulders and between his legs. And now you may know a whole lot more about me than you wanted

so i decided today i’d venture back into blogistan. i won’t say exactly how long i’ve been neglecting your blog, but i will tell you that it took most of my afternoon to get through your post-per-day november. i may disappear for a while at times, but it’s always fun catching up. lots of good laughs from both of you.
traveling without me, i see. you’re such a slut. happy new year!
(that’s for you as well, liz)

I love the sea turtle!
Enjoy the Keys. I’ve never been but hope to rectify that very soon. Happy New Year!

Chad:
good to see you are still alive.
Mel:
I am a wee bit obsessed with turtles. I chased this little son of a bitch for quite a long time. I felt like a paparazzi.

i also have turtle issues! in hawaii this past august we stopped about 8 or 9 of them just barely off the beach where we were picnicing. my uncle and cousin were ready to go home and i wouldn’t leave. just kept hanging out with the turtles. love them! i’ve snorkled with them, but don’t know how to dive so i am all about jealous.
on a completely different note, the million tiny angels that cup your balls helped my german shepherd. ludo has a huge hot spot that nothing was working on healing. someone suggested gold bond and it seems to be working. wahoo!

Killer, I’m glad you’ve posted. I was going to call you today and if you didn’t answer I was going to take that to mean that I could have your beer glass collection. Oh well. I’d rather have you alive than a wall full of awesome beer steins.... I think....
Call me when you get home. We’ll do beers or something.

Awesome windows-wallpaper-worthy photos. In fact, that is what just now happened to one of them.

I love sea turtles.
Also good to see someone who actually finds something interesting to do with his money.

Cool photos. It’s so much prettier there than it is here in the land of the ice and snow.

Missed you on TV this year. I read something about being able to watch balls dropping in Time Square on New Years Eve, and thought “oh. I thought Killer was in Florida, not New York”. But I did not have the TV on the whole evening.

hello:
I used to always wear a turtle necklace (I have about ten different ones), I would use it to encourage patience, especially when driving.
Liz:
Stay away from my glasses! I would have welcomed a call. we were really laid back and schlepped around a good bit.
dmarks:
Tell me which one you want and I will email you a full size file, instead of the web-size ones. (My desktop is currently the turtle shot)
Laughing:
No one can ever accuse me of not spending my money on fun shit.
Churlita:
It was 80 degrees here all week, now on the day we are leaving, it is dropping down to a “frigid” 60 degrees.
dmarks:
I told the Bam fam if they wanted I would show them a really great “ball drop” at midnight...they acted like they didn’t want to see it, but I think they were denying their inner urges.
Key West had a drag queen drop in a red show and a Conch drop, all on the same strip.

It’s the turtle one for me too, actually. My snorkel shots from La Jolla did not turn out so well.

i have two different turtle necklaces. one sterling silver cutout of a turtle and one turtle painted on a rock...both are on leather “chains.” love em!
if you wanted to email me the full sized turtle photo, i wouldn’t complain. not one bit!

Killer, if you want to avoid e-mail troubles with large attachments like your turtle photo AOL has a decent free service called Xdrive. You can upload up to 5 Gb worth of files and share them easily with friends. Folder level sharing and everything. I use it all the time.
Also a fantastic product that is also free for photo organizing and retouching is Picasa by Google. Once again something I use often. I’m not trying to say the photos need retouching (they are great) but the one touch color correcting is amazing. I downloaded the turtle pic from the blog and hit I’m feeling lucky. You’d be astounded at color depth and brightness that just leapt out.
Geek Central out.

Dave:
I have been meaning to check out Picasa. I am usually pro google on their ventures.
I manually correct all my dive shots with iPhoto or Photoshop/Illustrator. There is always a fine line between fixing them too much and maintaining the real underwater colors.
